Congratulations Tyler Murchie

The Mac aDNA Centre would like to congratulate Tyler Murchie on the successful defence and submission of his PhD Dissertation.

Tyler's thesis "Ancient environmental DNA as a means of understanding ecological restructuring during the Pleistocene-Holocene transition in Yukon, Canada" breaks new ground in the field of ancient sedimentary DNA, outlining a new protocol for the extraction and analysis of palaeoenvironmental DNA and how it can be used to understand the disappearance of Pleistocene megafauna. Congratulations again Dr. Murchie, and we're looking forward to more exciting research!
