Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age
The McMaster Ancient DNA Centre, Ontario Genomics, and the Ontario Science Centre as pleased to present Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age, a new exhibit at the Ontario Science Centre!

Hendrik Poinar and the McMaster Ancient DNA Centre have partnered with the Ontario Science Centre and Ontario Genomics to open the Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age exhibit. The exhibit showcases fossils and life-sized replicas of mammoths, mastodons, and other Pleistocene fauna allowing visitors to see and interact with the remains of these long-dead species. Visitor will also learn about the cutting edge techniques that paleontologists and paleogenetists use to extract information from extinct megafauna and learn about the past.
